Brought the second vehicle this week, I'd purchased an older Mercedes Benz C320 and asked that they check it out and let me know of any problems (92$ fee) and change the oil. That's when it got weird, Nathan told me that the oil for Mercedes was expensive, as it required synthetic oil, and that the total bill was 328.00. When questioned , I was told that i should want top of the line parts for that car and that next time to let him know if i wanted cheaper parts.(I was originally told that the oil was 10.00 a quart) I then looked at the invoice and saw that i was being charged over $18.00 per quart for the oil!!!! I checked two auto parts locations within two miles of this shop and could not find Mobil 1 priced over 9.79 per quart. I returned and was told that the Jiffy Lubes of the world do not know how to change oil on these types of cars and that he could not change the oil without a markup (100%?) and that he would give me a discount of sorts on future service, So the Oil change cost me 210.00!!! 328.00 for a vehicle inspection and oil change, plus dishonesty in pricing and communication. They are friendly and competent but watch your wallet, I will never go there ever again. Beware!!!
My wife and I have been back to them about 4 or 5 times now between oil changes, a starter issue, and a broken motor mount. (We have an older car) They have done a good job each time.
We took our Volkswagen to two places before taking it to Ricky's. Not only could the last place "A shop on Richard Sailers Pkwy" not fix the car...after two days their "Master Mechanic" couldn't even figure out what was wrong with it. Ricky's identified the problem, was fair on the price, and had it finished a week before we thought it would be ready.
I've always disliked trying to find a mechanic. When I found Ricky Jordan's online I was surprised to see so many good reviews so I decided to try it out. Had a great experience, friendly people, great waiting area and they were able to fix my car problems each time.

Took the second of two vehicles to this establishment, the first being an older Volvo C70 with issues. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and almost lull you into a mode of trust. They charged me for a coolant recovery tank, then two visits later determined that a low coolant light was due to a defective tank/sensor. they then grounded the sensor to turn off the light. When challenged, they (Nathan) said those cars have two tanks and that disabling one was no problem. They fixed the problem the right way after my persistence. The cost was high but it thought it OK for the amount of work. They also troubleshooted a difficult check engine light problem and oil seal leak (over 3000.00 worth of work!)
